Five Little Fingers Piano Studio is a Premier Piano Studio located in Parker, CO.  Lessons are taught to students of all ages (children start at age 6 or 7) Beginning to Advanced Level. Students are taught classical foundations of piano through various piano method and repertoire books. An emphasis is placed on teaching the Beginner proper fingering techniques, rhythms, and learning to read music.  As their study progresses, students are given technical exercises to strengthen their sight-reading abilities. In addition, theory worksheets are given to reinforce the concepts that the students are learning in their lessons.


Beginner Piano Lessons 

Beginning Piano Lessons are 30 minutes long and cover:
*Level 1 and 2 Piano Methods.
*Level 1 and 2 Theory Books.
*Introduction to Scales and the  corresponding books.
*Introduction to Classical Music:
*Exposure to a variety of genres so that the student begins to find a genre they enjoy playing.
 
Expectations of the Student: 
*Student will need to practice daily 15 minutes per day plus 10 to 15 minutes to complete theory assignments and IPAD Assignments.

 *Students will be asked to practice musical flashcards daily to help solidify note reading.  *Learning is also supported through IPAD Apps.  


Intermediate Piano Lessons

Intermediate Piano Lessons cover:
*Level 3A and 3B Piano Method Book
*Level 3A and 3B Theory Books
*Intermediate Scales and the corresponding books
*Broadening of knowledge of repertoire of Classical Music: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc
*Exposure to a variety of genres so that the student begins to find a genre they enjoy playing
*Theory Lesson
*Scales/Technical exercises
*Assignment notebook

Expectations of the Student:

*Student will need to practice daily 30 minutes per day plus 10 to 15 minutes to complete theory assignments and IPAD Assignments.
*Students will be asked to practice musical flashcards daily to help solidify note reading. Learning is also supported through IPAD Apps.  

Advanced Piano Lessons

Advanced Piano Lessons include 60 minute lessons.  Students will continue their study of all genres of music and continue to learn advanced piano techniques.  These students are given the opportunity for deciding their direction of study and are encouraged to explore different genres of music and expand their knowledge of music history and music theory. 

Advanced Piano Lessons introduce the student to the following:

*Bring a broadening of knowledge of repertoire of Classical Music: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc
*Continued exposure to a variety of genres
*Theory Lessons
*Etude Study
*Scale study
